Stylish left hand, guilloche complication blade decorated and pierced at the ricasso, 4-sided blade with low guilloche on one side between the ricasso and the blade. Iron-mounted weapon, long, straight, fluted guard arms with flower bud end, hand guard in triangular veil cut to size and engraved with putti, urn, bird and foliage motifs cast in the mass with the guard arms (a technique that did not exist at the time). Fine cone-shaped pommel, filigree spindle (accident) and striated lengthwise. No scabbard (Condition 2).
