Bronze sword probably from Luristan. Overall length: 460mm. Straight blade with four symmetrical sides. Spindle and guard cast in the mass, symmetrical shape. The center of the hilt is recessed to accommodate two plates, glued in place or imprisoned by folding back the edges of the hilt. An old label bears the text "Glaive bronze Mésopotamie 1200 avant J-C".
