Beautiful Gothic-style wrought-iron wick pistol with bassine - Lot 81

Beautiful Gothic-style wrought-iron wick pistol with bassinet wick and downward swiveling cover. Round barrel then twisted to 10 mm caliber with bayonet machining for blade attachment. A housing crimped into the side of the twisted part of the barrel holds a bayonet cap with a strong three-sided blade secured by a push-button lock. The key's paneton is cut with an elaborate three-lobed piercing. The ring, also reworked, features 4 regularly arranged rings. The ring is extended by three decorated branches, making it easy to grip and providing a comfortable and useful support for forcing the key when in use. A beautifully crafted silver-plated key ring depicting a knight in white harness fixed with a chain is supplied with this beautifully made decorative object. (Size 260 mm). (Condition 1)
