French infantry officer's saber model 1821. Curved blade with groove, counter-edge and round back highlighted with a fine gutter. Made by Klingenthal 1840. Chased gilt-bronze mounting, non-watermarked horn spindle. In a leather scabbard with three brass fittings and two bracelets. The chappe is marked Manceaux, Paris. Condition 1
