Regulation maréchaussée pistol according to the 1770 regulations. Weapon mounted in iron, mouthpiece held in place by a pin. Flat-body lock, flat hammer with espalet and panelled iron bassinet, lock signed in cursive "manufacture à Charleville". Functional mechanism with the lock disassembled and a weak catch when the lock is in place (parasitic contact in the lock wood setting easily corrected). Beautiful varnished walnut frame. Total length 255 mm (Condition 2).
