Superb 1874 civilian revolver made by Chamelot Delvigne, patented invention (marking stamped on the right side of the barrel). Weapon conforms in all respects to the regulation revolver except for the missing markings. Slight engraving on the hammer crest and checkered ebony grips. Gun no. 4746. Excellent gun for shooting. The hammer tip has been ground down a few millimeters to prevent the gun from firing. Condition 1- In its tan leather case, flap pierced.
