Attractive Russian artillery beibout model 1909, curved blade with two gutters and central ridge, inconspicuous ricasso stamp and date 1912. Symmetrical wooden spindle with pommel in the mass, two smooth wooden plates mounted on a flat sole with prominent round-headed bronze rivets on the noble face of the spindle, guard in the form of a flat brass ring receiving a combination of Cyrillic letters and numbers on one face (regimental assignment) and number 111 on the other face. In its shagreen-covered wood-cored scabbard, with brass cap and bolt, also numbered and received. The scabbard has a stitched leather belt loop. (Condition 1-)
