Officer-type 1779 flintlock seadog pistol converted to percussion. Hard-to-decipher signature on lock body, iron-mounted weapon, trigger guard plate forming mouthpiece. Round barrel, inertia block in place of receiver, civilian hammer, missing square nut screw, belt hook missing, fine walnut frame carved with reliefs highlighting the woodwork of the steel parts, fine seadog head carved on the stock cap. Missing ramrod, functional mechanism. (Condition 1-)
