Large former flintlock pistol converted to percussion. Gun entirely in bronze (except hammer and trigger). Round barrel with flat sides at the half, cylindrical and flared at the muzzle. Beautiful engraving of a trophy of arms on the barrel plate. Round bronze lock body. Long-eared cap. Walnut frame extending to the muzzle, held to the barrel by a pin. Tear and floral decoration carved in relief. Silver thumb piece, whalebone ramrod, without tip. Total length: 305mm. Functional mechanism. Condition 1-
