AN XIII model flintlock cavalry regulation pistol manufactured by the Charleville imperial factory, as attested by the cursive signature on the lock body. Barrel dated 1813 and breech tail marked "mle An 13" in cursive letters. Intact varnished walnut frame. Fine reception hallmarks on the lock plate, all fittings hallmarked en suite. Missing ramrod and upper hammer jaw and jaw screw, functional mechanism. (Condition 1)
