Superb solid walnut case containing a large Lefaucheux 12 mm pinfire revolver mounted in English style on a bed of Empire green velvet. Octagonal barrel, gun number 7127 with Lefaucheux revolver initials broken on the right side of the frame, oval stamp on the left side "Invention E. Lefaucheux brevetté S.G.D.G. PARIS" carcass with minimal remains of jaspering, bronzed barrel and cylinder. Beautiful varnished black wood inserts, functional mechanism, reinforced frame, a few cartridges, a single-cavity ogival bullet mold and jet cutter, its ramrod and a box of primers. The velvet cover bears the gilded mark "LEFAUCHEUX à PARIS". (Condition 1)
