Interesting French Berthier 1892 musket made by Continsouza, marked on the side of the receiver "CONTINSOUZA Mle-M-16", converted to a single-shot 22 LR caliber. Single-barrel weapon (0615) with ramrod and sling, the trigger guard imitates the magazine of the three-shot snap hook, but without trapdoor or magazine blade housing, as this snap hook is a single-shot weapon. The original barrel has been retubed with a brightly rifled 22 LR barrel, and the breech head adapted to impact, extract and eject the 22LR cartridge. Functional mechanism.
