Paris mounted national guard helmet, 1816 regulations (gold trim). Silver-plated copper helmet with a few dents, missing plumet holder, pointed visor and nape reinforced with a brass snap ring, brass crest with gadrooned sides, front plate enlarged at its base into a band with a raised snap ring imitating a rope, oval crowned central escutcheon surrounded by two crossed palmettes and oak branches, raised fleur-de-lys in silver-plated copper (no guarantee), two pressed brass chinstrap retaining rosettes, with black chenille mane. no internal cap, missing chinstraps. (Condition 2)
