Superb Second Empire commander's tie of the Légion d'Honneur in slightly insolated moiré fire silk supporting a commander's star also from the Second Empire period, Gold and enamel jewel in perfect condition (slight fels to the branches), the green enamel of the oak and laurel leaves is absolutely intact and 100% present, mobile crown bearing eagles at the finials. (Condition 1) Size 87mm X 60 mm, Weight 42.3 grams.
