Plaque de grand-croix de la Légion d'Honneur Second Empire period. Silver jewelry by "Ouizille Lemoine joaillier bijoutier de la légion d'honneur rue du bac nr 1 Paris". Cross branches decorated with diamond points, alternating with rays. Center with uncrowned eagle with outstretched wings on Jupiter thunderbolt surrounded by the text "Honneur et Patrie" ("Honor and Country"). Vertical round silver pin, two anti-tilt hooks on either side. The jeweler's signature appears on the reverse in a rectangular reverse cartouche. Weight 68.2 grams size 95 mm x 95 mm (Condition 1- ) to be cleaned.
