Model 1860 troop shako from the second company of the 2nd regiment of line infantry. Black leather headdress, reinforced with a black leather bourdalou, 2 headdress reinforcement bands sewn in a "V" shape. Square green leather visor inside (unstitched), two pressed sheet metal and black lacquered aerator knobs. Gilded brass plate featuring a crowned imperial eagle in senestrogyre with outstretched wings resting on a globe cut out with the number "2" on a background of lightning bolts. Tricolor painted metal cockade. Double red pompom, the small rigid basal pompom bears a number "2" identifying the company of assignment. Cap in the form of a sweatband in fine basane. Black lacquered hook on the back of the shaft (Condition 1-).
