Shako roll, type 1835, national guard officer, July Monarchy period, cylindrical body in strong cardboard covered in black cloth with oblong rear reinforcement in fine black waxed canvas, top covered in black cloth, wide top braid in silver canetille passementerie, Round leather visor with iron visor ring, the front of the shako features a tricolor cocarde in pressed leather held in place by a smooth pewter hemispherical button at its center, wolf's tooth inner cap in fine black basane, oval uniface red wool pompom bearing a brass "3" numeral. No chinstrap. (Condition 2)
